Donate to the Freedom Club On-Line
|
We are discovering that many addicts and alcoholics now rely on plastic credit or debit cards and rarely carry cash. While we will continue to rely upon traditional in-person donations, we feel that we must change with the times to continue our mission. If you don't have cash to donate at meetings, we hope that you will support the Freedom Club through on-line donations. Please note that PayPal charges $.30 plus 3% of your donation amount as processing fees. If you donate $10 through PayPal, the Freedom Club will receive $9.40. Donations to the Freedom Club are tax-deductible.
|
 | Donate to the Freedom Club Operating Account.
The Freedom Club relies upon its operating account to pay recurring expenses, such as building rent, our phone bills, literature, coffee, sodas and cleaning supplies.
| |
 | Donate to the Freedom Club Building Fund.
The Freedom Club maintains a prudent reserve in an interest-bearing account for planned facility improvements and in case of emergency.
|
 | Pay Your Membership Dues.
Freedom Club membership dues are $10 per month, or $100 per year. We maintain a posted record of dues payments on a posterboard in our coffee room.
|
 | Donate to a 12-Step Group at the Freedom Club.
A variety of 12-Step Groups meet regularly at the Freedom Club. You may donate to some of these Groups on-line.
Every 12-Step Group that meets at the Freedom Club ought to be fully self-supporting and decline outside contributions. You must be an A.A. Member to contribute to an A.A. Group; a N.A. Member to contibute to an N.A. Group; a C.M.A. Member to contribute to a C.M.A. Group. Please respect the Traditions of these Groups. Do not contribute to them unless you are a Member.
The only requirement for A.A. Membership is a desire to stop drinking. The only requirement for N.A. or C.M.A. Membership is a desire to stop using.
